Rossella Barresi
Rossella Barresi brings to the heart of the publishing house an experience rooted in 1992, the year she founded her photographic agency. Since then, her professional gaze has travelled through decades of publishing, collaborating with major Italian and international publishers. Her images – and those of the photographers she represents – have shaped book covers, reportage, illustrated series and cultural projects that have marked entire generations of readers.
The birth of Lisianthus Editore is the natural continuation of this path. Rossella founded the publishing house together with another partner, with whom she shared the project’s first steps. Over time, their professional journeys diverged, but the original intuition remained: to create a publishing space capable of uniting image and word, vision and artisanal care.
The experience gained over more than thirty years in the publishing world allows Rossella to guide the publishing house with a rare sensitivity: that of someone who understands the value of an authentic image, the strength of a well‑told story, and the responsibility of shaping a book meant to endure.
Lisianthus Editore grows by following this legacy: a gaze that does not merely observe, but seeks to understand. A vision that weaves together aesthetics, substance and truth. A journey that continues, guided by Rossella’s passion for beauty, quality and storytelling that leaves a mark.
